The Authors

John Kirkwood is a freelance Database Administrator and Consultant specialising in the performance and design of Sybase systems. John is well known for his presentations on Sybase performance and administration and has written several books on Sybase. John has been working with global replicated systems in the financial sector for far too long and brings many years of practical experience to this book.

 

Philip Yale is a freelance Database Administrator specialising in Sybase. Philip has worked with Sybase and other relational database systems since 1990, during which time he has gained extensive experience of database installations with a variety of commercial and financial organisations.
